Photography portfolio is now ready 写真ポートフォリオ開設しました
I just started this Photography portfolio site. There are many ready-to-use portfolio web sites but they are rather expensive. I decided to use free WordPress with a $49 template at a cheap rental server (4 Euro/month). It was quite easy to install WordPress but it took 3 days to understand this software. It requires some knowledge of HTML coding. I’m happy with this design.
As for the tennis photos, I decided to continue with the existing web site: http://www.hanafusa.org This site is only in Japanese.
写真ポートフォリオのサイトを開始しました。旅行写真を主体とするサイトです。専門業者が運営しているポートフォリオサイトも多くありますが、価格も月20$以上で高いので、無料のWordPressを使って作ってみることとしました。日本語のテンプレートはポートフォリオ用が殆どないので、英語版のものを49＄で購入しました。さくらネットのレンタルサーバー（月500円）を借りてWordPressをインストールするまでは簡単にいきましたが、WordPressの操作とテンプレートの設定に苦しみ、3日間ほど苦闘しました。ある程度HTMLの基礎知識がないと使いこなすのはできません。苦労した分できあがりはかなり気に入ってます。テニス写真もこのサイトで発表しようかともおもったのですが、写真学校の教師や仲間から「統一性がなくなる」と指摘され、従来のページで継続することとしました： http://www.hanafusa.org
